Our New Baby
Our new addition joined the family on Wednesday, January 23rd. He was born on November 17, 2006 outside of Rochester, NY. He's a Havanese, a non-shedding breed who makes a great family dog. He's a lot of fun and super cute (don't you agree?) -- but TONS of work -- just like having another baby around. Oh...the breeders named him "Rufus" but we're looking for a new name and haven't quite settled on one...help us name him by leaving your suggestion in the "comments" section. Check back to watch both Lucas and the puppy grow!

Aww he's so cute!! Rufus - that's kind of cute :) I can't get over how big Lucas is getting! Amazing how fast they grow, isn't it? I'm so glad you started a blog so I can watch him grow. I love his hair like that, too! Very hip.

HOW CUTE! Good luck in trying to rename him. When we rescued Molly, they had give her the name Molly. I tried for 3-4 days to call her Lucy but it didn't stick. I had to wait 13 years to get another girl dog to name her Lucy, the name I always wanted for a dog.
I want to put him in a hotdog bun and eat him!! Squish!!
